Shipping Terms & Conditions

By requesting shipping services from Sandalwood Armory, the customer agrees to the following terms:

Shipping Responsibility

Sandalwood Armory provides shipping and FFL services as a separate service from the sale or auction purchase of the firearm. We are not the seller of firearms purchased from auction companies, dealers, private sellers, or other third parties unless expressly stated otherwise.

The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for shipping and is responsible for providing accurate shipping and receiving information.

Packaging & Shipment

We will package firearms in a manner reasonably appropriate for shipment and consistent with applicable carrier requirements. Packaging methods may vary depending on the firearm, quantity, size, weight, and carrier requirements.

Custom wooden crates or other specialized packaging are not included unless specifically agreed upon in advance and paid for by the customer.

Carrier Damage, Loss, or Delay

Once a shipment has been accepted by the carrier, the shipment is in the carrier's possession and control. Sandalwood Armory is not responsible for damage, loss, theft, delay, mishandling, or other damage caused by the carrier after the shipment has been accepted, except to the extent that such responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

If a shipment is damaged or lost in transit, Sandalwood Armory will cooperate with the customer in submitting a claim to the carrier when applicable. The customer understands that carrier claims are subject to the carrier's terms, exclusions, limitations, and decisions.

Shipping Insurance / Carrier Protection

When available, shipping insurance or carrier protection may be purchased at the customer's expense. Purchasing carrier protection does not guarantee that a claim will be paid. Coverage is subject to the carrier's rules, exclusions, limitations, and determination of the claim.

The customer acknowledges that certain firearms, ammunition, accessories, antiques, or other regulated or restricted commodities may be excluded from carrier liability or shipment-protection programs. Sandalwood Armory is not responsible for a carrier's denial of a claim based on a carrier exclusion or limitation.

Customer's Responsibility for Purchased Items

For firearms or other property purchased from an auction company, dealer, or third party, the customer's purchase agreement is with the seller. Sandalwood Armory is not responsible for the seller's representations, descriptions, condition of merchandise, auction terms, purchase price, refunds, or disputes between the customer and the seller.

Unless Sandalwood Armory is the actual seller of the merchandise, our responsibility is limited to the FFL and/or shipping services we have agreed to provide.

Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers should inspect shipments promptly upon delivery. Any visible damage should be documented with photographs of the package, packaging materials, and contents. Customers should retain all original packaging and shipping materials because the carrier may require them when investigating a damage claim.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sandalwood Armory shall not be responsible for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages arising from a carrier's loss, damage, delay, theft, or mishandling of a shipment after the carrier has accepted possession of the shipment.
